Subject: Thank You Pingree Farms – Community Vegetable Gardens

Dear Pingree Farms,

Please allow me to reintroduce myself I am Reverend David M. Yarber, the Pastor of Davison Missionary Baptist Church. I would like to express my deep appreciation to Pingree Farms for allowing access to this year’s gardens. Both the Davison Church and the surrounding residents have benefited greatly from the nutritional vegetable selection planted by Pingree.

Because of your generosity many low-income families in the immediate area were able to benefit from the vitamin enriched produce grown and managed by your staff. And may I say personally that the products (i.e. tomatoes, squash, okra and greens) were simply delicious.

It is my hope that Pingree Farms will allow Davison Missionary Baptist Church and the surrounding community to have access to your vegetable gardens once again during next year’s harvesting season.

Thank you for being such a positive role model and a wonderful health conscious contributor to the residents of the city of Detroit. As always, should you have any question(s) or concerns whereby we can assist you, please feel free to contact me via the church on extension (313) 866-6830. May God continue to bless and keep you and the Pingree Farms’ staff.

Sincerely,

David M. Yarber, Pastor
