Victory Garden Application Pingree Farms is looking for lead field volunteers ages 18+ for our 2022 Victory Garden! We need 7-12 people that have the time/dedication to lead/manage daily field tasks to Friends of Pingree Volunteers! You must be willing to commit to a 3-hour shift 1-2 days a week or 3-4 times a month. Pingree’s Victory Garden Community Mission: Growing fresh organic food for the community while teaching the members of the community to grow their own food! Working with groups like Focus Hope, and Detroit Food Rescue to feed Detroiters! Daily Tasks: Planting, Weeding, Plant Management, Harvesting, Bagging/Boxing Food Donation, and Trash Pickup.
