Pingree Farms Open House

Oct 24, 2016 | News & Events, Videos

On Sunday, October 23, well over a hundred people gathered at Pingree for a fun-filled day down on the farm! Wayne and Oakland county 4-H students and other Pingree volunteers were on hand to introduce people to the animals as well as make hand-pressed cider and serve hot dogs and doughnuts to the crowd. Participants could feed the cows, pet the sheep and gobble with the turkeys. There were also hay rides—one wagon drawn by draft horses, and one by a tractor. The Society of N Scalers opened their doors as well to show off their fabulous miniature train displays. Thanks to all our volunteers and to the wonderful community of people who spent the day with us!
